Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche - the monk/teacher who blessed us all

Mickey seems to be having a wonderful, relaxing time here with us. She loves being out on the deck in the sunshine and Molly has become her shadow. She has done Tarot card readings for a lot of us, which has inspired many good conversations. The boys also introduced her to the movie "Lord of the Rings" and we are about two-thirds of the way through the trilogy.
Yesterday, she made a visit to a Buddhist monastery to pay her respects to one monk in particular. Stef drove her and joined her on her visit and it impressed him very much. I believe they took down the names of the entire family, so feel good that we have all been blessed.
Today, we are going to a one-of-a-kind exhibit recently built on the sand at Santa Monica Beach. Huge shipping containers are stacked one on the other to create what they call a "nomadic museum" and inside are life-size photographs suspended along walkways. You can see all about the exhibit at their website, which is pretty spectacular on its own.
