We had a lovely party for Misia on Sunday and she was thrilled by her gift--a spanking red bicycle with matching "Lance Armstrong" racing helmet. I wanted to get a picture of her for her posting but I think this one does her justice as well.

Late Posting on Ike and Lee

Late Posting on Ike and Lee

I never did get around to posting Ike's news about their move to South Carolina and so you all may know more than I do at this point. I no longer have a current email address so perhaps someone can update this in the comments section.

Ike has resigned from his teaching position after 23 years at Nokomis High School and has sold his house in Exeter. Lee went down earlier this summer to try things out. While staying at Nancy's he got a nice job at a nearby grocery store.

While Lee is finishing his last two years of school, it looks like Ike will be working on his Master's Degree in Mathematics, allowing him to teach at a higher level than high school. Sounds like a good plan; somewhere I heard "Change is Good!"
